Accessibility at Courtland

Courtland is a Grade 2 listed building dating back to 1820, centrally located at the rear of Shakespeare's Birthplace and gardens at 12 Guild Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 6RE. Suitable directions to Courtland can be found here.

 

Drop off can be made by parking in Tyler Street which is adjacent to Courtland and 24 hour parking is available in Tyler Street by arrangemenet using 24 hour scratch cards which are available to guests staying in Stratford.

 

Front access via Guild Street is up 2 steps above street level into the reception hall.

 

All bedrooms are located off landings on the first and second floors. Access to the bedrooms is via an inner hall and up staircases. There are no ground floor bedrooms and there is no lift. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are situated off the first landing and bedrooms 3 and 4 are also situated off the first landing up a step and along a short corridor. The private bathroom for room 1 is across the landing and down 1 step. Bedrooms 5 and 6 are situated on the second floor off a landing.

 

The breakfast room is situated off the main reception hall on the ground floor.
